Hello!

Thank you for considering joining Divebomb! Please read the following information before filling out the application. Many questions about the application process and Divebomb's raiding policies are discussed below.

Application Process

I applied. Now what?

Your application will be reviewed and discussed by officers and static members in the FC. Your application status will be updated on Guildwork when we make a decision, so please check frequently. If we believe you would be a good fit for the static, we will set up an interview in game or through VOIP at time that is convenient for everyone (usually within 24 hours).

The interview wasn't so bad! What should I do now?

After the interview you may be accepted into the FC as a trial member. Your trial period will usually last for a week (3 raid days) or less, during which time you may get feedback on your performance and attitude. At the end of the trial period an officer will notify you whether you've been accepted or rejected and give reasoning for the decision.

I passed the trial and have been accepted into Divebomb!

Welcome! Static members have additional privileges, including access to the FC chest, a weekly raid allowance (funded by the FC airships), housing customization, and input on future applicants.

Raid Policy

Loot

Trial members will not be guaranteed loot during their trial period but if you are performing well during your trial period, you will be allowed to lot on loot. This is to ensure current members of the static who have already undergone the recruitment process do not have loot grabbed by potentially underperforming, temporary, loot-and-scoot players.
You will need to have a secondary job that you want raid loot for when duplicate items drop. These jobs do not have to be level 60 or even be jobs that you would play in raid. If you do not have a raid-only piece listed as BiS for your main job, you will still be considered top priority for glamour and alt-job purposes.

Attendance

You are expected to attend raid each week. If you are unable to make raid, you should notify an officer and we will reschedule. Excessive tardiness will not be tolerated and multiple no-shows will result in losing your raiding status. We understand that real life comes before the game and that events like weddings, newborns, and anniversaries are special. Your raid status will not be compromised because of special one-time occasions. If the officers feel your attendance is becoming a chronic problem, you will be told in private and your raiding status may be in jeopardy.

Performance

Your performance during raids is an integral component in being part of the static. You should be able to display a deep understand of your job, how it relates to other jobs within the static, and how to best maximize your effectiveness and utility in the current raiding environment. In the event that your performance is dipping to where multiple officers have taken notice, you will be notified in private to give you an opportunity to explain (maybe a real life issue has been distracting you lately) as well as time to improve. If there is no improvement in your performance, you may lose your raiding status.

Raid allowance

Divebomb currently funds a raid allowance for all FC members of Divebomb's three static raids. Each FC member of each Divebomb sponsored raid (SupaPritty, Rape City, and to some extent Team Avix) receive 200k per FC member in the raid, per week. This gil is tracked by each static leader and is expected to be used exclusively on raid related expense (food, potions, crafted gear, materia, dark matter, carbonized matter). Misuse of raid allowance can result in the allowance being revoked for your character. For example, if Rape City has 5 Divebomb members, and 3 in another FC they receive one million gil per week (to the raid leader/officer) to distribute to the other raid members who are a part of Divebomb.

The allowance is funded with Divebomb's four r50 airships, which have specific routes they are sent out on to optimize gil and materia income. You are expected to know where to send the airships if you finalize their voyage, and to handle all materials acquired from them with integrity.
